This week we featured Trample the Weak, a hip-hop group hailing from The Creek that is working hard to make a name for itself.

It has not been an easy road for Trample the Weak. Members of the Battle Creek hip-hop trio have spent the majority of their adult lives fighting against conformity and battling for acceptance from a city that has been slow to recognize their talents.
More than a decade of toil would have been enough to crush lesser artists, but the group comprised of rapper Eric “Beanzarelly” Thompson, producer Howard “Carnije” Weatherspoon and vocalist Shaun “Hot Sauce” Houseman, all Fennville High School graduates, have learned the hard way that everything comes with a price, especially stardom.
