Otep to appear at Planet Live Music Factory in Battle Creek Tuesday night

After hitting Club Envy in Muskegon last night, Otep looks to punch Michigan in the mouth one more night as they take stage at Planet Live Music Factory in Battle Creek on Tuesday night alongside Blackguard, Destrophy, Sister Sin and One Eyed Doll. The show, which kicks off at 7 p.m., costs $13.

The Los Angeles-based metal act built around outspoken front woman Otep Shamaya is toting their latest album “Atavist”, released on Victory Records back in late April. The latest work has been getting fair reviews from entertainment media outlets.

This is Otep’s second release on Victory after three prior releases on Capitol Records. Chart-wise, Otep’s prior release — “Smash the Control Machine” (2009)— was most popular.
