After a successful show at The Strutt in January, it looks like Hawthorne Heights is a bit smitten with The Zoo, making a return on Sunday for the United Scenes of America Tour, also featuring a very similar cast of locals.
The Ohio-based emo rockers will play alongside After Midnight Project, Handguns, Self Centered, Key To The Midway (local), Yourhighwayhome (local) and KnowLyfe (local). This all ages show begins at 5:30 p.m. and advanced tickets are $13.
Hawthorne Heights is currently promoting its latest album “Skeletons” and is slated to produce original music for the upcoming racing video game “Fireburst“, which is the title sponsor for the tour.
As many of you know, we offer services for local (and region/national, we suppose) artists. Right now, we’re taking on design and writing projects for whoever needs it. Yes, we do charge (GASP!), but please be assured, these funds go into the magazine. Unlike the “pro” designers who will charge you 50 bones an hour, we keep our rates low. We have a team already assembled here that can cover the spectrum…
- Press kits
- Merchandise design
- Album art
- Show flyers
- Press releases
- Band bios
We know this area is rife with awesome artists, but consider us for your next project.

To boot, the venue will be breaking in the stage before Guided By Voices turns that mother out. Charles The Osprey recently announced the surprise show slated for Thursday night where they will appear with Chance Jones and other special guests for the first ever show at the venue.
Let there be local brews and tunes.
